Soccer Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

If West Fork was feeling good fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Hoover on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warhawks lost 7-0 to the Spencer Tigers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Fork of the 6-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

West Fork's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Spencer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

West Fork will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southeast Polk on the 28th. Spencer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
