Volleyball Recap: Clearfield Has No Trouble Against Bonneville

Clearfield won the last time they faced Bonneville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons blew past the Lakers 3-0.

While Clearfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

Sebastian Rodriguez paced Clearfield's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Max Bohman and his 29 assists. Bohman also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Nathan Toone, racking up two apiece.

Clearfield's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-12. As for Bonneville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Clearfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Layton on the 2nd. As for Bonneville, they will face off against Spanish Fork at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
