Soccer Recap: West Boca Raton Comes Up Short

The matchup between West Boca Raton and Leonard on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The West Boca Raton Bulls came up short against the Leonard Lancers, falling 9-1. The Bulls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

West Boca Raton's goal came courtesy of Gabriel Rocha, which was the first he's scored this season.

West Boca Raton's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Leonard, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season.

While West Boca Raton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
