 The Bristol Central Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They breezed by Capital Prep on the road  to the tune of  78-41. That  78-41 margin sets a new team best for Bristol Central this season.
  Amare Cockfield and  Syre Gillespie certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss.  Cockfield  scored 11 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds, while  Gillespie  scored 15 points. Those five  assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Damir  Williams, who  scored six points.
 Bristol Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Capital Prep, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Bristol Central will be playing at home against Middletown at 6:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Connecticut (Middletown is ranked 63rd, while Bristol Central is ranked 68th). As for Capital Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Bulkeley at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bulkeley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
