Volleyball Recap: Hockaday Takes a Loss

Hockaday saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Park Scots.

Mila Haffar paced Hockaday's offense, picking up seven kills. Haffar got some help from Ai-Vy Ho and her six assists. Finally, Callie Brooks kept Hockaday's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Hockaday's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Highland Park, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Hockaday wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against The Woodlands on the 14th. As for Highland Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Southlake Carroll on the 14th.
