Saint James managed to slip by Wetumpka the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Saint James Trojans lost 8-2 to the Wetumpka Indians on Monday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Saint James' loss dropped their record down to 11-4-1. As for Wetumpka, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Saint James didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 defeat against Lee-Scott Academy on the 18th. As for Wetumpka, they will welcome Benjamin Russell at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
