Softball Recap: Saddleback Comes Up Short

Saddleback was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Santa Ana Valley Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Roadrunners of the 21-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Saddleback's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Santa Ana Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saddleback will take on Portola at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Ana Valley, they will square off against Santa Ana at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
