Harnett Central and Eastern Alamance squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Harnett Central had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Harnett Central's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Eastern Alamance, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Harnett Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastern Alamance, they will take on Southern Nash on Tuesday. The Firebirds will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
