Baseball Recap: Hidden Valley Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Hidden Valley dropped their record down to 12-6 on Saturday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins at home. They fell 4-0 to the Henley Hornets. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

As for Henley, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games.

For Henley's part, Beau Pyle was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Hidden Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Mazama at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Henley will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' match: after the Mustangs face off against the Vikings, they'll take on Henley again at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
