Soccer Recap: San Pedro Gets the Win

San Pedro kept a clean sheet against Sylmar on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spartans, sneaking past 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but San Pedro were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Alexander Mejia, which was the first he's scored this season.

San Pedro's win bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Sylmar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-2 record this season.

San Pedro will head out to face off against Fremont at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sylmar, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Reseda at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
