Baseball Recap: Curry Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Curry's offense. They came up short against the Oakman Wildcats on Saturday, falling 16-0. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Curry's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Oakman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Curry and Oakman will both be playing Meek the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Yellowjackets will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
