Soccer Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss

Mitchell was the 2-1 winner over Bloomfield when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bluejackets fell 3-1 to the Cardinals on Thursday.

Mitchell's goal came courtesy of Alexander Gaytan-Valle, who's now up to three this season.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bloomfield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mitchell will host Austin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloomfield, they will challenge White River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield's defense better be ready for this one: White River Valley have averaged an impressive 5.1 goals per game this season.
