Soccer Recap: Bennington Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

After failing to score in their last contest, Bennington made sure to put some goals up on the board against Standing Bear on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grizzlies a 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

Bennington hit Standing Bear with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lucy Lampe (2), Taylor Redmond, Addison Hartley, and Claire Miller.

The victory made it two in a row for Bennington and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Standing Bear, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
