Soccer Game Preview: Kimberly vs. Sun Valley Community

The Kimberly Bulldogs will take on the Sun Valley Community Cutthroats at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Kimberly took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Declo get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Kimberly considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Declo with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from McKay Hollist (2), Sawyer Glorfield, and Carson Klingler.

Meanwhile, Sun Valley Community faced Wendell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Sun Valley Community have been dealt a draw since back in August.

Kimberly is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-8-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. With that draw, Sun Valley Community's record moves to 7-2-2.

Kimberly might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Sun Valley Community in their previous matchup on September 4th. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bulldogs were down 4-0.
