Soccer Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Warren County managed to keep up with Brentsville District until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Warren County's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Brentsville District, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kettle Run at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. Kettle Run will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Warren County surely won't give up without a fight. Brentsville District also won't see the pitch for a while: their next game is against Manassas Park at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. Brentsville District are facing Manassas Park at the right time seeing as Manassas Park are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
