Green River faced Pinedale in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wolves put the hurt on the Wranglers with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-17.

Green River found their leader in sophomore Brookelyn Phillips, who had 18 digs and two assists. Phillips is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Pinedale lost, don't look at Megan Boulter. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and one assist. Ainslee McMillen also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Green River's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Pinedale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-13-1 record this season.
