Basketball Recap: Converse Comes Up Short

Converse suffered their biggest loss since November 22nd on Saturday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Many Tigers an easy 61-35 victory. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 56-51.

Converse has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Many, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.

Converse is taking a road trip to challenge North DeSoto at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Converse is facing North DeSoto at the right time seeing as North DeSoto is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Many, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Zwolle at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Zwolle knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Many likes a good challenge.
