Volleyball Game Preview: ACERO Garcia Patriots vs. Juarez Eagles

The ACERO Garcia Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the Juarez Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

ACERO Garcia will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Tilden, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Blue Devils 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day ACERO Garcia got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 9-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Juarez took on Hyde Park on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 2-0.

Juarez easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-16.

ACERO Garcia's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Juarez, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.
