Baseball Recap: Del Valle Takes a Loss

Del Valle fell victim to Bowie and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bowie Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Monday.

Del Valle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was NOAH ROLAND, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. The dominant performance gave ROLAND a new career-high in hits.

Del Valle's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Bowie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Del Valle and Bowie could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Del Valle will take on Lake Travis at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th down 666 places (805 vs. 139). Similarly, Bowie (ranked 231st) will meet Dripping Springs (ranked 71st) at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th.
