Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lathrop). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Valdez Buccaneers 84-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-54 back in January.

Lathrop's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Valdez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lathrop will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Monroe Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on February 27th. As for Valdez, they will challenge Hutchison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
