Tulare Union was the 8-6 winner over Dinuba when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tribe fell just short of the Emperors by a score of 5-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tribe have suffered since April 11, 2024.

Brayden Stevenson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Tulare Union is 4-1 when Stevenson posts two or more runs, but 1-10 otherwise.
