Basketball Recap: Rocklin's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Manteca on Thursday, Rocklin came back down to earth. The Thunder fell just short of the Antelope Titans by a score of 51-48 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Thunder have suffered since December 28, 2024.

Antelope got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malichai Brown out in front who posted 15 points and three steals. Brown is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Kenny Murray was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rocklin fell to 3-1. As for Antelope, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Rocklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-61 win against Clovis West on the 6th. As for Antelope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-53 defeat against Inderkum on the 6th.
