Softball Recap: Arcola Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Arcola saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers by a score of 7-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Arcola has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Hutsonville/Palestine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Arcola will be playing at home against Argenta-Oreana at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hutsonville/Palestine, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 victory against Lawrenceville on the 10th.
