There's no place like home for Father Ryan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. They came out on top against the Harpeth Hall Honeybears by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Given Father Ryan's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Harpeth Hall are ranked 48th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Father Ryan hit Harpeth Hall with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chloe Edwards, Elliott Hartz, and Lila Pierz.

Father Ryan's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Harpeth Hall, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Father Ryan will host Lipscomb Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lipscomb Academy's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Harpeth Hall, they will square off against Brentwood Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
