Baseball Game Preview: Newfane Panthers vs. Wilson Lakemen

For the second straight game, Newfane will face off against Wilson. The Panthers will take on the Lakemen at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Newfane is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Wilson by a score of 9-6 on Monday.

For Wilson's part, Tyler Johnston was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Johnston was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Cam Bryer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Newfane's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Wilson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
