Basketball Game Preview: Indian River Braves vs. Grassfield Grizzlies + How To Watch

Indian River is 2-8 against Grassfield since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Braves will be home for the holidays to greet the Grizzlies at 7:15 p.m. Indian River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.

Indian River is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Norcom, posting a 76-30 win. The Braves have beaten the Greyhounds the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Greyhounds has come to flipping the script.

Indian River found their leader in sophomore Cierra Selby, who shot 64% from the field on her way to 21 points and eight steals. Selby's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kayla Buckingham, who posted 12 points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Grassfield came up short against Thomas Dale on Saturday and fell 42-35.

Indian River's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Grassfield, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
