Middlesex is 9-1 against Northumberland since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will square off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Middlesex comes in on 11 and Northumberland on six.

Middlesex is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Charles City 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Middlesex took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Northumberland posted their closest victory since September 20th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out West Point 3-2.

Northumberland's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Middlesex, their victory bumped their record up to 21-2.

Middlesex took their win against Northumberland in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
