Softball Recap: Vanguard College Prep Gets the Win

Vanguard College Prep won the last time they faced Concordia and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 27-11 margin over the Cardinals.

Vanguard College Prep got a massive performance out of Caetlynn Bogan, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Sabeen Shawbaki, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Vanguard College Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .810. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .600 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Vanguard College Prep's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Concordia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.
