Westfield Prep won the last time they faced Mt. Clemens and things went their way on Saturday too. The Westfield Prep Warriors put the hurt on the Mt. Clemens Battling Bathers with a sharp 63-40 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 23 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Mt. Clemens lost, don't look at Leah Williams. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. Williams' afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacqueline Barrientos, who posted 11 points.

Westfield Prep is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.8 points. As for Mt. Clemens, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Westfield Prep has already played their next contest (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mt. Clemens will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Roseville at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th.
