Basketball Recap: Patchogue-Medford Takes a Loss

Patchogue-Medford lost against Walt Whitman back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patchogue-Medford Raiders took a blow against the Walt Whitman Wildcats, falling 58-29.

Patchogue-Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Walt Whitman, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Patchogue-Medford will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Riverhead at 4:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. As for Walt Whitman, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Sachem East at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th. One thing working in Walt Whitman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
