Football Recap: Logansport Skates Past Bossier with Ease

Logansport's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed past the Bossier Bearkats to the tune of 40-12. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Keaton Cason had a dynamite game, rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 116 yards and a pair of TDs. Logansport also got a significant boost from Za'Kyron Brown, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Logansport was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Logansport's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bossier, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Logansport is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Delta Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bossier, they will host Booker T. Washington-Shreveport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bearkats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
