Baseball Recap: St. John the Baptist Victorious

St. John the Baptist proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the St. John's Prep Red Storm 4-3.

St. John the Baptist's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for St. John's Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John the Baptist will face off against Xaverian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. John's Prep, they will take on Archbishop Molloy at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Red Storm 3.3, the Stanners 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
