Prince Avenue Christian came into Monday's contest looking for another win against Athens Academy, but Riley Muir wouldn't allow it. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wolverines on Monday thanks in part to Muir, who had ten digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Athens Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Prince Avenue Christian scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

Prince Avenue Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Brenna Smith and Rowen Hudson. Smith had four digs and four aces, while Hudson had three digs and two aces.

Athens Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-12 record this season. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-23 record this season.

Athens Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against East Jackson on the 7th.
