Basketball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial lost against Beverly Hills back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Centennial Apaches were outmatched by the Beverly Hills Normans and fell 77-21. While losing is never fun, the Apaches can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1121st, while the Normans are ranked 331st).

This is the second loss in a row for Centennial and nudges their season record down to 1-17. As for Beverly Hills, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-44 defeat against Lawndale on the 27th. Beverly Hills has also already played their next matchup, a 71-29 win against Orange on the 25th.
