Pocola put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-52 victory over the Howe Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since February 2, 2024.

Kadynce Delt and Slatey Jo Free certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Delt dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds, while Free went 7 for 13 on her way to 19 points and five assists. Delt is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Jazz Harrison was another key player, putting up nine points.

Pocola's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Howe, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Pocola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-26 win against Heavener on the 28th. Howe has also already played their next game, a 77-46 victory against Vian on the 30th.
