Volleyball Recap: Shelbyville Central Comes Up Short

Shelbyville Central lost against Coffee County Central back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Red Raiders, falling 3-0.

While Shelbyville Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-23.

Shelbyville Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Coffee County Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shelbyville Central is set to take on their familiar foe Columbia Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Coffee County Central will face off against rival Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
