Volleyball Recap: Washington Union Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Washington Union duked it out with Golden Valley on Friday. The Washington Union Panthers fell just short of the Golden Valley Cougars by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington Union started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-20, 17-15.

Washington Union's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Golden Valley, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Washington Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Justin Garza on the 1st. As for Golden Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sunnyside on the 1st.
