Soccer Recap: Wheeling vs. Rolling Meadows
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buffalo Grove, Wheeling was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Rolling Meadows Mustangs 1-0. The Wildcats' winning goal came courtesy of Chris Conejo.
Wheeling's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Rolling Meadows, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3-3.
Wheeling will square off against Barrington at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Barrington's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
