Oakcrest's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves. This was a revenge game for Oakcrest: when they faced off against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Grace Sweatman and Amal Mohammed scored both of Oakcrest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Oakcrest's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 2-3-1. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.
