Soccer Game Preview: Quincy vs. Helias

The Quincy Blue Devils will head out to take on the Helias Crusaders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Quincy has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Helias will arrive with eight straight victories.

Quincy is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Quincy Notre Dame on Thursday. The Blue Devils fell 3-1 to the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Helias kept a clean sheet against Camdenton on Friday. They blew past the Lakers 8-0. Considering Helias have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Helias' win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Quincy skirted past Helias 1-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
