Basketball Recap: Estancia Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Estancia extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Brook Eister. The Estancia Bears claimed a resounding 56-18 win over the Raton Tigers thanks in part to Eister, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Ana Cuevas, who posted three points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. That's the most boards she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Estancia now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Raton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Estancia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-29 victory against Clayton on the 25th. Raton has also already played their next matchup, a 56-8 defeat against Pecos on the 25th.
