Basketball Recap: St. Francis Borgia Comes Up Short

St. Francis Borgia was the 68-50 winner over Montgomery County when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the St. Francis Borgia Knights and the Montgomery County Wildcats didn't end well, with the St. Francis Borgia Knights falling 59-44. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Wildcats are ranked 18th).

St. Francis Borgia's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Montgomery County, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Looking ahead, St. Francis Borgia won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montgomery County, they and Mark Twain will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
