Volleyball Recap: Lake Holcombe Takes a Loss

Lake Holcombe lost against Osseo-Fairchild back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chieftains took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Holcombe's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Osseo-Fairchild, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Lake Holcombe will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Birchwood at 7:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Nekoosa on the 20th.
