Evangelical Christian waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Gateway Charter Griffins 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Evangelical Christian took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-12.

Evangelical Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mykalaih Busse, who had 15 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Busse has posted over her last six matchups. Another player making a difference was Olivia Holt, who had three digs and three aces.

Evangelical Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in four consecutive contests.

Evangelical Christian's record is now 15-6. As for Gateway Charter, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
