Football Recap: Temple City Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Temple City was not quite Alhambra's equal in the second half on Friday. They lost 27-7 to the Moors. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Jacob Paredes threw for 104 yards on ten of 21 attempts. Tristan Powell was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards. On the ground, Jake Leones rushed for 74 yards.

Nero Navarro was a one-man wrecking crew For Alhambra. as he picked up 153 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Navarro showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 57 yards.

Temple City's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Alhambra, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Temple City didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-14 win against Bosco Tech on the 12th. As for Alhambra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 55-19 victory against Azusa on the 12th.
