Softball Recap: Plainfield South Has No Trouble Against Sandwich

Plainfield South barely beat Sandwich the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Plainfield South was the clear victor by a 16-2 margin over Sandwich on Friday. That looming 16-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

The win (which was Plainfield South's third in a row) raised their record to 3-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Sandwich, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
