Baseball Recap: First Baptist Christian Academy Find Success

First Baptist Christian Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Calvary Christian Academy Lions by a score of 5-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Charles Hahn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Hahn wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was RJ Lara, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That hit marked the first that Lara got this season.

First Baptist Christian Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

As of now, neither First Baptist Christian Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
