Soccer Recap: Clemente Find Success

Clemente saw some tournament action on Thursday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wildcats who were credited with the victory. The Clemente Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Prosser Falcons's one. Clemente's winning goal came courtesy of Juan Anez Semeco.

The win got Clemente back to even at 4-4. As for Prosser, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Clemente will square off against Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clemente will be up against Chicago Sullivan's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Prosser, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Muchin College Prep on the 19th.
