Soccer Game Preview: West Geauga vs. Chagrin Falls

The West Geauga Wolverines will take on the Chagrin Falls Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with West Geauga sitting on three straight victories and Chagrin Falls on eight.

West Geauga is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over Wickliffe. Considering West Geauga have won 14 contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Wickliffe from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ava Borz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

West Branch typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Chagrin Falls proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Warriors 3-2.

Chagrin Falls' win bumped their record up to 12-7-1. As for West Geauga, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
