Basketball Recap: Dayville/Monument Takes a Loss

Dayville/Monument was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler, falling 59-28. The Tigers lost against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 77-25 score last time.

Dayville/Monument's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.

Dayville/Monument will square off against Jordan Valley on Thursday. Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler has already played their next match (against Condon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
